Malefiz - The First to Reach the Goal Wins

Blocking, teasing, a bit of tactics - "Malefiz" is one of those games many people still remember well from earlier years. The magnetic game pieces stay securely in place, even if a hand trembles while moving them or the board gets shifted. The clearly distinguishable colours and sturdy design make the game pleasant to use.

The familiar, easy-to-follow gameplay can be a lovely activity for seniors and people with dementia in particular: the game can be picked up again without lengthy new explanations, placing the blocking pieces and moving figures can pleasantly challenge concentration and fine motor skills, and playing together can create conversation and enjoyment.
